On
Wednesday 15th March 1995 by our invitation, Crime Prevention Officers form
across the region attended a demonstration of our new high security locking
system and security hinges fitted as standard to our latest range of Windows,
Doors and Patio Doors. The standard test is to provide a 10" chisel
and 10 " screwdriver for a 3 minute attempted break-in, for our test
we supplied a hammer, chisel, screwdriver, battery drill and crowbar and
instead of 3 minutes we allowed 15 minutes. |

| The
test was conducted by an officer of Durham Constabulary who firmly believed
he could gain access through any window in well under 15 minutes. He and all
other people who attended the demonstration were extremely impressed and agreed
that this level of security should enable people to rest a little easier at
night or whenever their property is unattended. |

| In
June 2000 following an update to our security systems we were visited again
by officers from Durham Constabulary who witnessed and recorded video footage
of our products resisting strenuous break-in tests. All of our products
stood firm once again whilst some competitors products failed, some times
is seconds. This video footage has been distributed to all police stations
and a copy is available to view at our showroom. |
